What if you got this for like 350 dollars to upgrade from an old Samsung Airtrack with wireless subwoofer? Got a deal from Best Buy for the out of box display for a discount and they couldnt find the remote to it so they took off even more to get it down to 350. I just thought they were trying to sell me something and they did lol

I just got my PX2-pro today and upon setting it up, the keystone has curved the top of the screen/picture. You can see it is wavy. Do you have any suggestions? I try to recalibrate and it makes it worse, manual does not help, and I completely reset the projector and it’s wavy still during set up. It’s completely level and so is the screen. I have no idea how to fix it, looking for guidance.

What's your thoughts on doing a projector set up for a hundred people but how do I figure out the sound should I go through HDMI EArc to create a Dolby sound... Or is it non-practical so instead go with two large powerful speakers stereo and to subwoofers... But the question is for this type of event should I use a mixer or a receiver, The projector I will be using is the horizon ultra

Hi, have you encountered problems regarding fan error? Mine says "Fan error. Projector will automatically turn off on 5 seconds so as to protect itself". Any idea how to rectify?

Speaker wattage rating is not how much power they need, rather how much power they can handle over an extended period of time. Most of the time 50w through reasonably sensitive speakers is going to be plenty. If you tried to put 200w through an 80w speaker you would likely break both your ears and the speaker.

Excellent! I hope this helps those considering a home theater. I was fortunate that I had plenty of unfinished room in the uphill side of a daylight basement to build from the floor up. I started with the amount of room available, then built out in the best dimensions (width, depth, height) possible. I've done everything you've suggested, except for the subwoofer, which I plan to correct. Right now I'm running a 12" ported SVS. Thanks for doing a thorough, spot on job!

First of all, fantastic videos. Your precise, economical use of words is refreshing. You get right to the point much more clearly and accurately than most others do. My question is about HDMI ARC splitters. I have a Samsung Smart TV from, like, 2012. Given that it has just one HDMI ARC port that’s already in use, can an HDMI splitter with ports for two devices allow me to hook up my new sound bar along with the current device using that single HDMI ARC port? If so, any particular such splitter you’d recommend? Thanks again for your terrific content!

Mantle Mount is great for hanging a tv over a fireplace like yours. Lowers it to a much better height.

You didn't grab random off the shelf units. You let the manufacturers send you their optomized units. That is not going to be our experience. Also brightness is by far more important with lazer tvs than black levels etc. You are treating them like standard projectors for dark rooms. Us real world UST users know brightness is by far the most important thing. I don’t own an AWOL but they outperform all those you tested. Even though the company is childish. My LS 800 is good enough and bright. Combined with a good ALR it is very watchable in a bright sunlit room.

my arlo pro 2 remains offline .I dtried syncing with my Base station but it remains offline .I have to wireless cameras both remain offline.

I live in a home full to tech junk that I got when I bought the house: 3 3D TVs, 1 JVC 3D projector, 3 receivers, Wireline control pulse bus, wyrestorm, RTI, speakers in every room, Sonos, a video camera system, and a HAI Leviton PLC that runs everything. Ive been slowly learning all of this tech junk to get it working again and used this video to replace my Yamaha receiver with a Denon receiver I found in the living room so I could get my home theater golf simulator working. This was very helpful.

The problem is most TVs don't have that many HDMI ports. Mine has 4 and I already have 5 devices I want to connect, the soundbar would make 6. In my situation I think Toslink is just fine.

I am very impressed with it is still going strong, however, when the picture expanded across the screen from corner to corner, it’s only for the commercials, but when the program comes back on, it’s not stretched across the screen from corner to corner how do I fix that anybody out there knows thank you.

I need advive as i have a Sony 5.1 home theater speaker system with toslink and a ARC HDMI, A Benq projector (TK850i), mediaplayers are Nvidia pro and Amazon fire stick. I need to know how to connect ARC HDMI form my media players to Sony 5.1 home theater system to get Dolby sound, is there any device available?

Having just recently moved to a new apartment, I was gifted a TV with an ARC port and was looking at getting an ARC-enabled soundbar but wasn't sure the benefits or how to properly set it up. This video helped a lot, cohesively explaining why and how to use ARC as well as its limitations (and without throwing in unnecessary jargon about all the supported codecs). Super helpful and not long at all.
